Great place to stay . . .
We have been to the CasaMagna twice, and were very happy with the accomodations. Service is great, property is beautiful, pool is huge and it's right on the beach. Some might like the attention paid by the poolside waiters, who did not "harrass" us, but were always available to both the adults and the kids. It is north of the marina, so a bit farther from town, but the cabs are plentiful and inexpensive. We hope to go back soon (I asked a cab driver what he thought was the nicest hotel in town, and he said the Marriott!).

Fantastic Hotel
The CasaMagna is a beautiful hotel. Upon our arrival we were greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our check in was quick and we were shown to our room. After walking into our room I was amazed of the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the room. Our view from the balcony was just breath taking looking over the pool and the ocean and you could see Old Puerto Vallarta across the bay. We were totally impressed with all the casamagna had to offer. This really is a top notch place to stay. We would not hesitate to visit there again.

Very nice.
Just got back from Casa Magna PV. The hotel was in a great location, walk to the Marina, $8 cab downtown, Great beach. The staff was courtious and Very friendly. The rooms, bed and shower were comfortable and nice. The pool was big and clean, the chairs were comfortable. I thought the food and the spa was a bit expensive, but the food was pretty good. Go to the Marina to eat at night. We at at Tikuel( Excellent) dont get the fish.

awsome hotel
i loved this hotel went there for my honeymoon and you have to get the ocean view it was really romantic at sunset. Clean hotel and nice staff. Only downfall is all the timeshare people what ever you want to call them harrassing you at the marina OMFG i almost fought one it was so annoying also if you do any activitites at the beach always negotiate a price for renting things at the beach i.e watercraft or other stuff they always drop the prices cause the hate to lose potential money from americans

The best thing about this hotel was the housekeeper
We were disappointed by our service. As a Marriott hotel, you would have expected more but our pool waiters were nagging and constantly bothering us. And when we needed them, they were nowhere to be found. The restaurants were horrible. The Champion bar was decent but I think that's because you can't go wrong with fried food and really the place was pretty empty the night we went. The first 2 days we were there, there were spring breakers that the entire pool accommodated for - it was unbearable. They were doing activities at the pool and if they blew their whistle, they would blow it into a speaker so that everyone heard it.
