With its decidedly modern architecture, this restaurant claims to be one of the most popular in town. The staff of the neighbouring préfecture eat there nearly every lunchtime, as do many local sports teams, who all recognize the quality of chef Hervé Valverde's cuisine. Warm fish terrine, home-preserved duck, beef tartare, fluffy grilled cod with tomatoes, eggs and peppers, and fish and meat dishes are prepared Bordeaux-style. A special feature is the choice of some 30 different cigars—the restaurant is host to the Bordeaux Havana Club.
