Situated on its own private beach, George's is an extremely popular restaurant located 40 minutes south of Providence. Seafood is its award-winning specialty; the chowder, fish and chips and lobster dishes are all excellent. Steaks, ribs, pasta, salads and sandwiches are also on the menu. George's has an appealing dessert menu, a full bar, and a take out window plus it offers live music on the weekends. People travel from miles around for its reasonably priced daily specials even off-season after the summer tourists are gone.

Traditional Seafood w/ a twist
They are known for their lobster rolls but they also show a different side ofthem They take traditiona lstaples like lobster and kick it up a notch w/ their lob dip, their grilled lobs. They had a pan seared ahi tuna that was something i'd expect in nyc and the price was unreal it was an appetizer for only 6 bucks. i've paid 17 in nyc for the same thing!
