Back to Pez Gato Beware! This company does not inform cruise ship passengers of the difference in "boat time" vs Cabo San Lucas time. I booked a snorkel tour via the internet and arrived at what I believed to be 50 minutes earlier than our scheduled departure. Only to find out our tour left without us!!! I was told by Pez Gato employees that this happens quite often with cruise ship passengers who book the tour on their own (not through shore excursions) and although there was another tour (with plenty of space) leaving within the hour (and it was a 2.5 hour tour) we were not accomodated. I was treated rudely by the employees on dock and the company refuses to refund my money. In addtion, they will not extend the courtesy of notifiying potential customers to be aware of the time difference on their website! My short trip to Cabo was a nightmare-- don't let it happen to you! I would NOT recommend this company to others.
Reviewed by: Ari from on Aug 20 2009 Tons of Fun The Pez Gato staff is awesome. The night before my wife and I were scheduled for our snorkeling tour, I made the mistake of having ice in my drink at a local restaurant. We called the Pez Gato office first thing in the morning to cancel. I was very please at the staffs effort to find us another day we could attend. I was shocked they never mentioned any kind of additional fee. Once on the boat, the ride out was very relaxing and the staff was extremely attentive with the drinks and some funny info. My wife and I have been snorkling in at least 10 different locations and my only disappointment was the snorkling itself. There really wasn't a whole lot to see but we did have fun in the water. The ride back was like a different boat. The staff flips the party switch including the 70's party music and the drinks really start flowing. If you are looking for fun, this is it.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 02 2008 Great time! My husband and I took the snorkling tour with Pez Gato and absolutely loved it. They take you on a 45 minute sail to Santa Maria Bay where you can snorkle for about an hour and a half. The water was quite chilly and a number of people were stung by jelly fish so no one stayed in the water the entire time. Served a nice lunch and the crew was very entertaining. After we left the bay, the captain spotted some humpback whales and decided to follow them. We stayed with the 3 whales for the entire ride back to Land's End. That was a great added bosus!
