Travel back in time at the Tiga Puluh Bar, which claims to revive the 1930s spirit of joie de vivre (joy of life). With nostalgic black-and-white pictures, classy 1950s-style Scandinavian furniture, and live music (generally pop and jazz), you really feel as if you have been transported to another era. A range of beers, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar, which features comfortable chairs rather than traditional barstools. Unlike many of Jakarta's bars, most of the patrons are in their 30s to 40s, many of whom are Western expatriates.

Good entertainment
Mostly good live misic, for visitors high prices but the atmosphere compensates all. Was here several times during business visits and stay at Le Meridian in years 2002 / 2004.
