This multi—screen cinema is centrally located at Kungstorget, next to Kungsportsplatsen behind Saluhallen. Biopalatset has ten screens, the largest one seating 359 and the smallest one 86, in a three—storey building. The elegant interior really does look like a palace. The rest rooms are down in the basement, where you will also find a fragment of the old city wall of Gothenburg, excavated in the 1980s. The latest Hollywood productions, as well as other box office hits are on offer here. The cinema sports THX, DTS and SRD technology, and is part of the Sandrew—Metronome chain. Tickets can be reserved by phone. If you make a reservation, you need to pick up your tickets no later than 30 minutes before the film starts.
