The resort's splendid Friday-night luau has been a highly popular, critically acclaimed event for nearly three generations. Careful attention goes into every aspect of the celebration, from the roasting of the Kalua Pig to the flashy Samoan fire dance. The menu includes regular luau fare like steamed taro and teriyaki beef, as well as some unusual island offerings such as Opihi - small local shellfish eaten raw on the day of harvest.
