I love thai food and finding thai in jakarta was tricky. Lovely food, lovely service, a bit dark though! the only thing i didnt like was some bloke wandering around as if he owned the place and saying "good evening" in an american accent... i believe he was the owner or manager or something... but apart from that myself and my colleague went there five times in two weeks whilst on business. downstairs is also a good indian restaurent (visited twice).. expensive, but our indian colleague reckoned it was better than some he had had in Bangalore!

I like this place, i remember that my first time came to LanNaThai is met with expat guy for dinner , dinner was nice - food ok and tom yam is very delicious plus romantic. but the ending with the expat guy was bad. that is my experience. i love lanathai. i love thai food.

I have never in my life been treated so poorly than at this place. The owner, or manager, seems to be from the USA and has the worst attitude. He was having a function in the Face Bar and there was no where to sit, so I met my guests and proceeded to sit down to have a drink in the dining room downstairs. The owner approached the table and asked if we would be having dinner, to which I relied that we might. He then said that was "against the rules" in a very rude manner. I offered to take by business elsewhere and he said that he would make a rare exception. The dining room was empty. Never again!

After living 6.5 yrs in Thailand we were happy to find Lan Na Thai in Jakarta. The atmosphere is great. We arrived early, 6:30pm and we had the place to ourselves. By 9pm it was packed and all tables were full.

I have been la na thai for 3 times.And never get tired with the nice food and goog service.I will go again while my visit jkt!
