This is one of Molokai's main attractions, located off the southern shore of Molokai. Measuring 28 miles from tip to toe, it is Hawaii's only barrier reef. There are two ways to see this reef: from a distance or up close and personal. To do the first, it's necessary to climb up a hill (possibly in the Kamakou Preserve or Kamiloloa Heights) and look down at the ocean. You can't miss it. An even better way is to take a snorkel or dive tour, like those offered byMolokai Fish & Dive and head out to sea. The snorkeling and diving along the reef are ranked among the best in the world.
