Back to Miette Hotsprings Loved It! I loved being surrounded by the mountain ranges that seemed so close I could touch them. The cold pool was excellent, and the options for hot pools was great because I had a little one with me. I would definetly go back again!!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 12 2007 Great location poor accommodations I stayed at this "resort" for two nights. The location was great because it was a short walk to the hot springs, this is ideal if you plan on going numerous times to the hot springs within a given day. My experience with the resort is as follows: Upon opening my door, one could quickly smell that there was gas leak in my room. Luckily the handy man wasn't far and was able to try to fix it. We thought that he had taken care of the problem and had tried to air out the room. In the middle of the night I had woken up to a strong gas smell again. I didn't know if it was back or if I was just crazy. My aunt and grandmother were in the room beside me, and my mother and family were renting a separate cabin. When they stopped by the next morning they couldn't believe how strong the smell was again. The handy man was around outside so after complaints to the owners, he once again came in to fix it. What was surprising is that he wasn't at all surprised. We thought the matter had been taken care of. Late the same afternoon I thought the smell of gas was stronger again but wasn't sure so I had my aunt come by, she agreed with my assessment and suggested that I go back to the front desk again. This time an older fellow came to the room (owner of the resort). He basically told me that I was wrong, there was no gas smell and that it was not his problem. He told me that he would turn off the stove but basically it was all in my head. This of course was infuriating. Even if he thought that he couldn't smell anything, he handled it in a terrible manner, especially given that the occupants of the room included a pregnant woman and her toddler. The room occupied by my grandmother and aunt didn't have a gas problem, it had a heating problem. The heater was on overdrive and the handy man couldn't fix it, so it meant that these two woman had to sleep with both of their windows open. The cabin the rest of my family was renting seemed functional other than it was very dark and dingy, had a small fridge (even though the place sleeps five), and the kitchen tap had a bad drip.

They will rent swimsuits and towels if necessary. We pulled up and saw sheep with babies in the parking lot. A lovely drive as well.
