As the name implies, Central is the center of the city. It is the transportation hub, business center and seat of the government headquarters. Anyone interested in architecture should take the Heritage and Architecture Walk organized by the Hong Kong Tourist Association. It is a great way to explore Central's old and new structures, including I. M. Pei's soaring Bank of China Tower, Sir Norman Foster's high-tech Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Headquarters, the 150-year-old French Mission Building, and the oldest Anglican church in the Far East.
