Any tourist visiting Molokai will probably hear about this beach before stepping off the boat (or the plane, depending on circumstances). A three-mile strip of white sand beach, it is the pride and joy of Molokai. Getting to it isn't easy, as it's all the way out on the West End, past the Kaluakoi Hotel. However, once there, most visitors want to stay awhile. While the sand is closer to gold than white, it is soft, warm and inviting. The waves are great during the summer (use caution during the winter). This is like Makena or Ewa beaches without all the people.
