Long Point Beach, Martha's Vineyard
Absolutely breathtaking from the minute you arrive. The path to the ocean beach and the winding walk to the pond are surrounded by pools of water and wild flowers. The Trustees of Reservations have taken great care that this area and its wildlife are carefully protected. An admission fee and parking guidelines create a quieter atmosphere than most of the island's beaches. Be careful driving to the entrance, though, the speed limit is 15mph and is strictly enforced.
