With 40,000 flights annually and a customs and immigration area of 10,000 square feet, this airport near downtown Niagara Falls is geared for efficiency. The 22,000 square foot terminal has a restaurant, passenger lounge, duty-free and gift shop. There is also ground transportation to Niagara Falls, Buffalo and Rochester. Opened in 1928, the airport boasts the 4th-longest main runway in New York State. It has been conducting international flights since 1965. An annual, three-day air show held each July, celebrates the airport's importance to the community.
