Built by the Sinagua around A.D. 1130-1280, Honanki is Hopi for Bear House. Of masonry construction, this exceptional pueblo is one of the region's largest, having once held 60 rooms. Another site close to this location is at Palatki (pictured), which also offers a small visitor's center. Admission into the sites is USD5 at present, but is subject to change. Please call the Ranger District Office in Sedona for current hours, fees and road conditions leading to the site.
