BIKERS NOT WECOMED
I did enjoy touring the ASAFA, but my girlfriend and I were touring CO. for my birthday and we were doing it on a motorcycle. They have strict rules for people on motorcycles that are far more than state law (gloves, goggles, jackets with reflector. helmets and this was the middle of July and after traveling 200 miles. We were told that the CO of the academy does not want bikers on the property. We purchased the items at a nearby WalMart since my G/F father had retired from the Airforce and we wanted to get him a jacket. They are not biker freindly.

USAFA a must!
Visiting the USAFA was honor and a priviledge, and remeber those young men and women on that campus have made a committment to defend and protect the rest of us who chose to visit their temporary home. The military academies in the US are home of some of the brightest minds in this country! All deserving of respect and thanks!

WOW!
The person who wrote the review stating the AFA is the wallmart of the Acadmeys should seek professional help- they are worried about cracked concrete? This would be due to the rugged winters- this place is amazing- @ 7500 ft the air is crisp and clean- and the deepest blue skies anywhere-The architecture is spectacular-The history and beauty makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up and makes me proud to be an American-I applaud our brave men and women of the USAFA-

One of America's Gems
The campus of the US Air Force Academy is unbelieveable. First of all, it's free to get on the grounds. Then the views are incredible. Add the museum, gift shop, and chapel...this is a can't miss if you are passing through or are in Colorado for vacation.

Just Like Heaven!
The scenic drive was nothing like I had ever experienced in my life, it was so breath taking driving through the mountains looking at all the wild life. This is a place that I could visit over and over again and still could not get tired of being there.

Awe-inspiring!
The United States Air Force Academy should be on the top ten list of "must visits" It's touching to see our young men and women on their campus-they are so earnest. The Chapel is beautiful as is the hike up to the Visitors Center. It's easy to start humming America the Beautiful in these surroundings. What an awesome place.

The Air Force Academy Grounds are wonderful, while visiting I was able to have pictures taken by the B-52 Bomber at the North Gate entrance. Everything was just beautiful

Awesome Place
The AFA simply is unlike any other service academy or place in general. It's not really something you can describe, you just have to go see and feel it for yourself.

US Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO
This scenic pine filled campus with a Rocky Mountain backdrop, is home to America's future Air Force officers. Enter Colorado's third most popular attraction at the North Gate for a glimpse of a B-52 bomber. Travel six miles to the visitor center, chock-full of exhibits, short films and a gift shop. Tour the stunning Cadet Chapel with 17 magnificent spires reaching 150 feet into the sky. Or check out Falcon stadium where the Air Force football team plays, and keep an eye above where the skies are colored with cadets practicing parachuting and flying Thunderbird jets.
