Wow!
These people really go out of their way to make sure you have a successful whale watch. My boyfriend and I were visiting Rhode Island from Maryland and while there, made the drive to Cape Cod for the sail. It was an experience well worth it. I should add that we went out on an extremely foggy day, and the crew made every effort to locate the pods (3 seperate pods of finbacks) and continously appologized for the limited sightings. Given the conditions, we were quite impressed by what they were able to find. Just a tip though, bring a jacket or a sweatshirt (or both!)- it gets cold out there! I had to beg my boyfriend to get me a sweatshirt from the on board gift shop. Also, bring cash. It's all that is accepted on board.
