The D'ed Dog remains the most popular pub in Jasper. Papa George's newly renovated restaurant will surely put the Astoria on fine food lovers list of must dine places. If only they would offer a weekend wine and dine package during low season.

This charming, but old hotel has a very small lobby and the room we stayed in was small with a half a bath - the sink was next to the side of the bed.

The Astoria is a lovely little hotel. I have stayed there many times. It has the best location in Jasper, right in the middle of downtown. The rooms are small but well kept. It has a fine restaurant, especially for breakfast as well as the best pub in town.
