Formerly known as the Singapore International Marathon, this year's marathon is organized by Standard Chartered Bank. Similar to the previous years, participants can choose to take part in a relay category, as an alternative to running the entire 42.195 kilometers by themselves. A relay team covers the same distance but the run is "shared" among the six team members. Sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank and co-sponsored by the Singapore Tourism Board.
