I won't be back.
For starters, you had to pay $10 to get internet access in your room when it is free 1/2 a block down the road at Comfort Inn. Service was poor, the front desk would seldom answer the phone. The TV service was terrible. I am a football nut and didn't get to watch any games because the HD channels were messed up. Oh, but you could go watch it in the bar and it worked fine. That doesn't make any sense. And to top it all off, there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. It cost you $2.00. I will be back in Colorado Springs yearly but I will never stay here again.

Hello...is anyone there?
Trying to update reservation for a block of rooms for a corporate event and it takes 8, 10, 12 rings for the phone to be answered! Still trying to speak with a manager after leaving 3 voicemessages over 3 days!! What's happening at this hotel!!

wonderful experiance
Unlike the other reviewers my husband and I had a wonderful experiance. For the price we were impressed. the room was comfortable, and even had a sleeping package in it waiting for us with a CD lavender linen spray and eye cover to help you sleep better. Two things that did disappoint me a bit. To get wifi in your room you had to pay for it (this I was not expecting) and the restuarant inside the hotel (thibadeuax's) left little to be desired for breakfast. On a plus note we ordered room service from there and it was delicious. I would recommend to anyone traveling to CO. Springs

Thibadeau's (sp?) in Colorado Springs
My husband and I had V-day dinner there and ordered their $19.99 special on Prime Rib. The cut was VERY small and over-cooked like a hamburger rather than the medium rare. We mentioned our dislike to our waiter. He said he would send a manager to our table but no one came. Also, the baked potatoes weren't ready, they came about 15 minutes later. The crappy waiter also wouldn't fill our small ice tea glasses unless it was completely empty. He also forgot our steak knives. We got $7 off our meal. Whoop-de-do. Word of mouth Crowne Plaza, word of mouth.

Wouldn't stay here again.
Was booked here for a convention. While rooms were nice, but small, they did not come up to the expected standards. Had to pay for internet service in the room or you had to go to the lobby to get it free. It was a very long walk from lobby to room, like a maze. When you get off the elevator on the second floor, you walk and walk going up ramps to get to the next set of rooms. Rooms were not quiet. Maid service was spotty. There have to be better places to stay in C Springs for the money.

Stayed at Motel with Elderhostile
Neighorhood is run down, need to walk about 1.5 miles to get to anything to see. Rooms were clean but dark. Place was being remodeled and many hallways etc were torn up. Management seems nice, but 2 weeks after we left they sent a charge on our Visa for $98.00 - no reason!

Wonderful 7 night experience at Crowne Plaza
Newly remodeled, immaculate, comfortable rooms. Bottled water, coffee maker, lovely sleep kit w/CD in our room were great perks. Best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so accommodating and eager to please. Free airport and local area shuttle was greatly appreciated. We will be back!

I'll never go back to this hotel.
Service was horrible, front clerk was laughing at me when I had a complaint, Rooms are non-smoking, but watch out for cigareettes flying from the second floor balconies, I did get burned, and instead of offering me any first aid, all the front desk could only say was really. Outdoor pool is new, but was not open, indoor pool was missing tiles, which was very scary with two small children. Who could have been easily hurt.

Go any where else
location was great, hotel is over rated, indoor pool is unsafe for all children, staff is great checking in, but once you have a problem good luck, your on your own. I would not recommend this hotel.

Staff coud be a lot nicer...
The hotel staff was not friendly at all. In fact, they hung up on me when I called to request something. I am not going back.
