A 45-minute ride from Marsh Harbour via water taxi or ferry, this cay is in the center of the chain of cays that lie off of Great Abaco's coast. Island-hopping day-trippers often stop here to dive or snorkel to see the Adirondock, an 1862 war vessel that sank off of the northern tip of the island in just 20 feet of water. On land, there are plenty of uncrowded beaches and nature trails to explore. The island is sparsely populated with only 300 people, many of whom are descendants from the first settlers, the Alburys. There are a few restaurants and inns, but amenities are minimal.
