Best Garden
There are lots of types of gardens, such as Japanese gardens, English Gardens, and more here. It is also a good place to spend the day there. Also, there are fountains. There are Coke machines throughout the park and they are inexpensive. I should come back when it is warm the next time I am in St. Louis.

Absolutely beautiful
It's beautiful, it's peaceful and we had a great time! Used to live right by it and would go everyday just to walk through it! Our son used to play in the fountain and loved the fish!

Don't waste your time
Don't waste your time in St. Louis going to the Garden. It's a big rip-off. Gift shop prices are too high. Restaurant had terrible food and again, higher than other St. Louis prices. Workers were rude. I've seen better gardens in many places. There is nothing unique about the garden. It's like paying to walk through your neighbor's back yard. If you go in the summer the humidity will kill you. Save your money for a botanical garden somewhere else, like Seattle.

WOW! Worth the time/money
My family went to the Missouri Botanical gardens the weekend of 8/5/06 and was thoroughly enchanted. The gardens were great on their own, but the glass exhibition there till October was breathtaking. The seamless combination of beautiful plants, environment and exquisit glass pieces was unbelievable. We took our 8 and 9 year old and they loved it to.

A Must See: Chihuly Glass Exhibit
This was our first time visiting the Missouri Botanical Gardens & it was fantastic! As a plant lover, I couldn't get enough of the flowers and the scenery; however, for those not as excited at looking at plants, it's definitely worth going to check out the Dale Chihuly Blown Glass exhibit. His work is so unique and each of his pieces are beautiful complements to each the different the gardens.

Amazing!
MO Botanical Garden is a definite must see. One of the top rated gardens in the US, they currently are hosting a Chihuly glass exhibit within the garden that makes a good outing even better. Lots of walking so wear comfortable shoes....
