One of the highlights of Bahamas diving, snorkeling and fishing, this coral reef is the third largest in the world, spanning nearly the entire east coast of Andros. The bonefishing flats and the incredible clarity of the water surrounding the reef are legendary. Snorkelers can glimpse the Three Sisters, a coral formation that contorts every which way. A number of dive operators on the island conduct excursions to the coral caves of the Petrified Forest as well as deep-sea "over-the-wall" dives further east of the reef.
