OINK........if nothing else is available
close to Ikea and right off 95....People at front desk were very nice and friendly. The computer in the lobby would not go online and I wasted time going back to it when they said it was ok...but still would not connect. The man and woman running breakfast not friendly at all.Asked them a question about heating an item up in microwave , the woman turned and left and the guy just grumbled. So we went to thier connecting resturaunt and the lights hanging over the tables were very dusty. asked for meat to be done and had to send it back and it still wasn't done. The hotel had buckets in the stairwell for the leaks from the rain. Only noticed that because the elevator was not working between 2 to 3:30 am. If you don't mind spending good money for a letdown, stay here. I stayed in the La Quinta on rte 17 myrtle beach in 2005 and that was a fantastic place. La Quinta in new haven,ct,,forget it. This one is giving the others a bad rap. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Funtime,but...
The stay was terrific!!! Although the beds were too lumpy.Other than that, it was the best ever!!!The food was good! We loved everything, but the beds.

Not what we expected.
I feel the room was overpriced. Our room wasn't cleaned to my standards. We had hair in our shower and dead bugs under our pillows. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. There was about a 3 foot strip of tape going down the wall. If these problems were corrected it maybe worth the price and another stay from us.

Excellent location and service
Very convenient location off I-95 next to the IKEA store - five minutes from Yale University. Very comfortable rooms and excellent continental breakfast. Ask for a room on the rear of the building away from the highway - its quieter there. Personable staff willing to go out of their way to meet requests. Overall an excellent stay.

Needs much better service
There was not always someone at the desk and the general atmosphere of the hotel was desolate and isolated from the rest of society. It was not welcoming when walking in and the rooms left much to be desired. Would only return if last resort.
