Reviewed by: Mitchell from on Feb 08 2009 This place is awful I check in, television does not work. They send up this guy who spends an hour and fifteen minutes playin with the remote and then he tells me he might be able to fix it in the morning after he talks to his boss. I complain to the front desk and they tell me they are sorry but there is nothing they can do. Unbelievable. Customer NOService!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 18 2008 Not what is advertised There is no pool at this facility, despite what it says on the website. There is a very small exercise room.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Apr 17 2008 convenient for Yale visitors Rooms comfortably furnished. Our ceiling leaked when it rained and the manager moved us to another room. Coffee available 24 hrs in lobby. Breakfast buffet was good but not included in room rate; selections available in the bar were limited. Parking garage spaces can be challenging to get into because of supporting pillars. We appreciated the free internet connection. Located in the Broadway district of New Haven within walking distance of Yale Bookstore and several casual restaurants. We plan to stay here again primarily because of the convenient location. Lots of prospective students were staying here with their families when we visited in July.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 04 2005 new and slightly improved The old Holiday Inn near Yale's campus has been re-invented as a Courtyard by Marriott. Prices seem to have risen, but room quality is on the rise as well. Bathrooms are cleaner, and at least the floor I was on did not have that strange industrial cleansing agent smell that used to plague parts of the hotel in its former incarnations. Between the location and the basic quality, I'd say its the best deal in New Haven. Just don't expect outright luxury.
