good beer bad food
My husband ordered the alberta beef with the potato gratin and vegetables. I ordered the supreme chicken with rice and veg. The chicken was rated as a local product and we try to eat local as much as possible. The food arrived on huge plates. The portions were tiny. The wild rice was undercooked. The chicken looked like white turkey meat sliced deli style and slathered with congealed brown sweet sauce which they claimed was beer and maple syrup but I've cooked with beer before it should taste like well beer. My husband's steak was so tiny and overpriced. The chicken was so awful and overpriced. I gave it two stars because the beers were okay. We did have the fried calamari which turned out to be okay. If you want to go there I would stick with pub grub like hamburgers and fries and anything deep fried.

Best pub in town
A ton of great local and imported beer. Nice drafts as well as bottles, food was decent too. Music there often, nice lively comfortable atmosphere.
