Wholesome family activities
The saloon show is a great investment (our favorite show in branson so far). Rides are good. The staff was very helpful and kind. There is a large amount of walking up and down hill. This tires the whole family but my family enjoied it. We returned to the hotel and relaxed in the pool.

QUIT WHINING!!!
The place is for kids. As long as they have a good time, what does it matter if you're bored? That goes especially for the person that is 41 now and has been going there for a number of years It's family oriented and we have been going there since I was small. I still enjoy it. It's relaxed and quiet and supposed to be like that. They even do wedding renewals in that little chapel. Hubby surprised me with one last year.

Don't waste your time!
Theme park-please-Country/Western show park-it's not for the young ethnic/urban groups. It's was pretty boring-only a couple of rides that were fun and the other 3 yes 3-wasn't worth the wait in line-basically don't waste your money-we're never going back!

SDC Employees Used to be nice - what happened?
Just got back and the thing that really stood out this time was the rudeness of some of the employees. Not all were rude, but enough to make us think twice before we go back. From tram drivers yelling at people and driving off leaving people standing when they had empty seats, to ride operators. The worst ride operator experience was an older man actually chasing me yelling at me all the way. Even though I was on my way out the gate after he kicked me out for having a purse, that wasn't good enough, he followed me all the way, continuing to yell at me, leaving everyone else on the ride sitting there staring. They have a new policy now banning carry-on items from SOME rides. Problem is, they don't tell you this up front when you get in line, so you might stand in line for 30 mins. then you find out when it's time to board. They provide open cubbies to put your belongings in, but there is absolutely no security - no one watching, no locks, nothing. Anyone can walk by and grab your stuff and walk away. The "purse" I had is a back-pack style, it's my theme-park bag, and I've carried it for 6 years to various theme parks and it's never gotten away from me, even on wild rollercoasters.

Love Love Love it!!!
My family and I have been going to SDC since I was a small child. I love the fact that they do not serve alcohol and it is VERY family oriented. You can't find many down to earth places such as this anymore. I now have small children and we go to Silver Dollar City every year. All of the festivals and activities are wonderful and everything is so clean~ Thanks for such a wonderful, fun experience all these years!!!!

Single Dad
This has become a habit of going back. We didnt go back for branson, we went back for SDC. My kids loves it there and it is now becoming a family traditions for three of us. Single dad and two children been going there almost every year. We skip last year to go to Dollywood in Tenns. However it same MIRROR as SDC compare with DW. SDC is MUCH nicer and prettier than DW. SDC is reasonable than DW. I choose not to go this summer but my kids has begged me and guess where we will be this summer? SDC. Thank you SDC for making this our awesome family traditions and making branson beauitful. This time we are staying in a cabin! What a new challenge! SDC does not have alot of rides but they had been adding on in the last few years. I think the whole enviroments is wonderful for all age. My kids love the Grandfather Manison..... Check out the old mine in the cave for a good BBQ.

It's over rated
I have been going to SDC since I was a child (I'm now 41) and they are still selling the SAME trinkets and souvenirs that they did way back then! They still have the SAME crafters! Not much has changed other than a few rides over the years here and there. The entry fee is $50 per person! Who wants to pay that to stand in long, stinky, sweaty lines...only to get soaking wet and walk around the park getting your thighs galded BECAUSE your shorts or jeans are wet! LOL
