I just ran in and bought a bottle due to being a tourist, the wine is real good and nice bottles. ITS VERY AFFORDABLE TOO.

Great wine for the money. I like fruity/sweet wines and this place has them. Tasting fees are low (or free if you buy wine). Both locals and tourist go here.

We love the Baywood wines! We have been wine club members for several years and each time we love the wines they send. Nice Portuguese family, small winery, lovely tasting room. Take a bottle of Baywood win to Mantos and Santos (cant remember the exact name) seafood restaurant (excellent food favored by the locals) and there is no corkage fee (they are good friends). We had a fantastic time at the tasting room. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did we buy wine and gifts while we were there, we also joined the wine club.

Wonderful wines, funny, vibrant, informative staff; a late harvest Symphomy wine that is to absolute die for, one of the best late harvest white wines I have ever tasted. They have wines ranging from $5 to about $35 a bottle, with a great pinot noir and a regular symphomy also. Their tasting fee is only $3, which is waived with purchase. My favorite tasting room in the Monterey area.
