Back to Still Waters Resort not what I expected for a resort rooms was small and since we had 2 double beds the stove top burners was five feet from our beds. you would think if they had a stove top burner they would have forks and spoons, plates, etc. A regular hotel room at least gives you coffee packets for 1 night. Shower sucks, the shower head was if they got it from the dump!!! bikes were old and hard to ride. We was up all night listening to the people above us jumping and running and slamming doors till 2:00a.m. that sucked big time. Need less to say since it was our 10 yr. anniversary it was not quite like we hoped it to be for the price. great if you have kids because somethings was free. But, I'm sure there is other resorts that better than this one.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 04 2009 Nice This was a nice, quiet place to stay. The only complaint is that the extra bed was suppose to be a queen. We had 2 daughters (25 and 14) sharing. But it was a double. The sheets were for queen though so they didn't fit. The bikes are bad (old and flat tires) so don't expect to do much bike riding. But other than that, it was clean and quiet which is more than most places. We'll stay here again!
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 26 2008 Not the weekend getaway place I had hoped for. The location is OK if you plan on only going to Silver Dollar City. If Branson Landing or any of the shows in town is your attraction, then this is not the place to stay. If you want towels changed daily and your trash taken out, be prepared to wait on yourself. If you like swimming or sitting in the hot tub after dark, then this is not the place. The bathroom was very small, there was trash under the beds, pools and jacuzzis were shut down at 10pm.
Reviewed by: Nate-dawg from on Aug 25 2008 We want to live here! My husband and I went for 5 days for our anniversary. We went to one show and to get our groceries one day, and loved the fact that we did not have to leave the rest of the time. The market had good food. It is just beautiful, very clean and friendly here! I loved the fridge with ice maker, washer/dryer, and the tub jacuzzi was actually big enough for two. We didn't catch any fish, but, we didn't care...the lake access is great!

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Aug 28 2007 Love Stillwaters! We have been coming to Stillwaters for over 16 years. Our kids loved it when they were little, and now that we're empty-nesters, we still love it. We bought a timeshare there and need a "fix" once a year at least. The new pool area is wonderful - they put in outdoor lounging/beds, and they are so relaxing. Some are in the shade and some are in the sun. The Bayside Market has great fast food and provisions as well. High-speed Wi-Fi in each room too!

Reviewed by: Marathonchick from on May 01 2007 going for 2nd time in 2 months We went for our anniversary last month and were going back again to go to Silver Dollar City. Stillwater resort is only a couple minutes from SDC and its to the south so there is no traffic. I will never stay at another place in Branson.
Reviewed by: Jacob & Kim from on Apr 27 2007 Noisy, Noisy, Noisy We enjoy going to Branson during the "Off" season for some peace and quiet. These rooms are not constructed well, you can hear every noise anyone above you or beside you makes - walking, showering, snoring, alarm clocks. We did not sleep well during our 3 night stay and were happy to return home for some rest.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Mar 19 2007 It was really good We really enjoyed our stay at Stillwaters it was really buetiful and in a perfect location for Branson and Silver Dollar City. The Staff that we saw was friendly and I really like the little store had a good breakfast. The only thing I did not like is no maid service,at least in the hotel rooms.I thank they could go in and just wipe the tub out and empty trash, they do not have to make my bed and I could get my own towels like we did. I did not go on vacation to clean tubs and toliots and this I feel needs to be done daily. Trash should be picked up only if it is in waste basket. It was no problem to empty my own trash.
