Should you feel the need for a pre-show meal, the Bistro is located beside the Lux Cinema Centre and will gladly fill moviegoers' bellies, particularly those with huge, skiing-induced appetites. The menu is much larger than that of most Banff restaurants and offers selections as diverse as Roesti Pizzas, Pheasant Coq au Vin, and the bitterly delicious Spinach Caesar Salad. The atmosphere is a little more boisterous than most serious dining, but is upscale nonetheless. Special consideration is given to the dessert menu, with an extensive selection of delicate, sweet and liquor-laced treats.
