We enjoyed the overall environment and setting of the Lodge. However, the place had a very old feel ad stale aura. We enjoyed dinner at Club XIX but it is still a notch or so below Domaine Chandon in Napa, and Five Sails in Vancouver. We did enjoy Casanova's in Carmel thoroughly.

Every aspect of this place is sheer perfection. I have a friend that is a member of the golf club and we came to visit him from canada...we were treated like royalty. I highly recommend a stay if you like to be treated with the best!!!

What we loved the most was the overlook of the first hole. It was beautiful. The bathrooms were wonderful and everything about it was perfect. I would give in 6 stars.

Combining a magnificent view of land and sea with the ultimate in service and accomodations, you feel not like a guest, but a potentate. From the moment you drive up and are greeted by the uniformed valets, to the complimentary papers at the concierge area, every detail of comfort and friendliness is exceeded. The food and service at the restaurants are not to be believed and the accomodations are supreme. The ultimate resort destination that will make you want to come back no matter what the price. Worth every penny as the memories will be priceless!

Spent a wonderful, relaxing, romantic weekend here with my boyfriend. Wonderful location on 17 mile drive, wonderful service, wonderful restaurants, wonderful wonderful wonderful. I did not want to go home!!

This was an experience of a lifetime. I gave this to my husband for his 50th birthday. I reserved the least expensive room but they upgraded us to a FABULOUS suite on the 18th fairway overlooking Carmel Bay. It was like a fairy tale!!! We had candies everytime we left and returned to our room. Our fireplace was restacked and ready for us to light. We were treated like royalty. I can't say enough good about this wonderful, magical place.

the service was wonderful and the rooms were outstanding... we stayed in the ones with the fireplaces overlooking the 18th green,,, could it get any better than that? My husband played golf and I road, this time I will play and he can ride. HA.HA.
