If dining in Old World charm tickles your fancy, this is the place to try. Variously known as the Main Dining Room (1899) and the Elizabethan Grill (1950's), the present name was bestowed about a decade ago. Sample French cuisine amidst the grand ambience of full-length drapes, chandeliers and silverware. Recommended dishes are the smoked Atlantic salmon, and the best-end and rack of suckling pig. The wine list includes more than 600 types of wine. Service is impeccable and the staff knowledgeable, hardly surprising, as the restaurant is on the itinerary of ministers and visiting heads of state.
