Excellent stay; only one tiny comment.
LOVED this hotel. Excellent rate and location; beautiful, peaceful, quiet; very clean pool and pretty ambience / private places to sit outside and read. PILLOWS and bedding were: FANTASTIC! (Nice manager TRIED to find me a pillow that I could buy, but didn't have enough in stock; offered to mail us one as they are only sold for hospitality; GREAT on the neck)!!! SMART and thoughtful reservationist found my 87 year young dad (with walking disability) a PERFECT first floor room; close to lobby). This hotel made our stay in Palm Springs! (It's very very pretty; rooms may seem small for more than two people though). One comment: don't "rush" to the breakfast bar; omelette was too chintzy and NO extras; could've used some fresh fruit, muffins to choose from, etc.) and breakfast staff was not personable). Other than that: EXCELLENT choice! Air conditioning was quiet; everything worked in the room. REALLY, REALLY LOVED THIS HOTEL; beats out the others in pricing and is very clean and pretty. Desk staff was great!

We can not wait to come back!!!
As a family of 4 we had a wonderful relaxing trip. Great breakfast for kids and a heated pool for a day in the sun. Pool serves great drinks and kid drinks. A little pricey but you are on holidays! Very quiet at night to relax and have a glass of wine in the couryard. But one night we heard a party going on ( 10:30) and called front desk. They took care of it right away and we never heard a thing after. Beautiful flowers everywhere throughout the whole hotel. Very clean rooms with very happy staff. Newly renovated and nice decore. VERY HAPPY!!!!

Ghetto and dirty
Lots of people walking around, mostly drinking or drunk and loitering and smoking around the pool area, most who have brought their own 24 pk from the market. There was no p[arking available for us after 7 PM and we were so worried about so many teens and drunkards walking all over the parking lot. Was not a peaceful place like people said in the reviews. Not worth the money. Breakfast was a complete waste of time. They have maids serving breakfast that are ruid and donot speak English well. The free omelet was so watered down it tasted like flour and water pancake, tehy didn't even bother to put enough cheese or onion, a complete waste of time. The waffle was also so very watered down- that it burnt very fast on their griddle and was crispy and dark brown, how insulting giving free food like this!

nice job
We stayed two nights just before the 4th of July weekend. They are currently doing a major remodel, we loved the newly remodeled rooms and the addition of plasma tv's in all rooms. The only downside of our stay is they were resurfacing the pool deck so only half the pool was open. But that is the price of upgrading the quality of the property. The free breakfast was great with ceral, waffles, and omlettes. The hotel is a short walk to a great mexican restruant.

Love it!
Friendly people, from the front desk to the gals in the lunch breakfast room. The location is great, in downtown Palm Springs "who could ask for anything more." The architecture and grounds are beautiful and in addition the rooms are lovely and we can bring our dog! Of course, this is Palm Springs!

Everything was just fine
I spent a week at the Best Western Las Brisas Hotel earlier this month. Everything was as it should be. Pleasant hotel, nice room, courteous and helpful staff, acceptable complimentary full breakfast included in the room rate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to spend time in downtown Palm Springs.

a short get away from LA
Booked a king room arrived and checked in only to discover 2 queen beds in the room. Phoned the management and was told no king rooms were avalible however was credit for a queen room and $10 was given credit towards our stay. The pool is a bit small and the carpet in our room was dirty. The location of the hotel is great and is walking distance to the main strip. The complinentary breakfast at the hotel was great! TIP: Across the street form the hotel the seafood restaurnt is the best and has fresh seafood and good service. Onour next say we will go back to this hotel.

Oasis close to everything
Beautiful grounds and buildings. Adobe/stucco throughout with patios, hideaway places, pool, fountains, nooks, extensive greenery, vines, lawn, flowers. When we were there the bouganvilla were in full bloom everwhere throughout the property. The rooms are basic motel, clean and functional. It's the architecture and and gardens that make this place so very special. Just one block from the main PS drag and all the other desert communities close by.

Watch out for Overseas Phone charges
Front Desk was not very helpful in acknowledging that a 52 min phone call to Australia (of all places - I would not even know how to place a call here) was obviously not made by anyone in my family (we were at dinner w/cc receipt the very time the phone charge was noted). Hopefully, Best Western will intercede and make things right. Otherwise, our hotel stay was adequate.
