This centre is dedicated to the ongoing education, archival preservation and awareness creation of the hatred and intolerance that occurred during the Second World War. It exhibits insightful art, film, literature and other creations that reflect its mandate. Many important and difficult issues are explored through a variety of art and media. Temporary exhibits have included 'Janusz Korczak and the Children of the Warsaw Ghetto' and 'Too Close to Home: Antisemitism and Nazism in Canada'. Tour Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre

The Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre Tours is a great way to explore and learn. The tour has a number of pre and post visit activities. There are also school programs available for grades 6 to 12. They have 2 tours which can accommodate around 30 students each, the tour being 90 minutes long. Due to the tour's popularity, please book two weeks in advance.
