Jim Ruddy collected bits and pieces of American products, displays and advertising images for more than 35 years. Then, just to round out his collection, he bought a Midwest museum of mid-20th century retail items. The end result is this gem of a general store museum, set up with the antique cabinets of an earlier time. On the shelves, many visitors see packages they knew well as young children and remember buying with their allowance pennies.
Admission is 50 cents per person.
