Despite being destroyed by fire in 1999, Public Space has rebuilt its structure and reputation as one of the coolest bars on Sanlitun Street. The ceiling-to-floor front windows can be removed in the summer for a veranda effect, providing the ideal spot to sip a drink and watch the world go by. Beers range from CNY20-CNY40, mixed drinks usually go for CNY30 and cocktails a little bit more.
