If Israel has a national poet, Chaim Bialik is it. This is the writer's former home, where he lived and worked until his death in 1934. The house itself is perhaps the greatest attraction. Several of the rooms, including his library, writing room, and dining room, have been either preserved or recreated as they were. The architecture is worth viewing in its own right, and if the visitor does not know Hebrew, may be the only real attraction as all the display information is in Hebrew.
