This venerable white mansion with its bay windows, filigree, and dome looks like a giant wedding cake. A happy coincidence since many weddings do, in fact, take place in the elegant Sterling Ballroom. The decor is Victorian with intricate chandeliers, arched mirrors and a soaring stained glass rotunda. All 17 rooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi in the private bath, and beautifully furnished with Victorian antiques. Rooms on the upper floor afford pleasant views of the exquisitely manicured flower gardens. Chanterelle, the house restaurant, offers fine gourmet dining.
