Couldn't wait to check in because I heard so many great things in reviews about this hotel. I got a great price for a "resort". We checked in and there was one person behind the desk, so we waited longer than we wanted to, just to check in. As we stood there waiting, one of the quest was complaining and was very upset about his room. We got to our room and it was so disapointing. It looked like a $30 room. Nothing fancy. The floors were soggy, the bath room was plain and the tile work in there was horrible. The bathroom fan did not work. Not what I expected from a "resort". There were no free breakfast in the mornings, but guest get a discount at the resturant. The mini golf was a joke. We laughed at that one for a good 20 mins. The splash park was alright. The slide was neat and the swim area was pretty big. No complaints there. However, my kids swam there once and liked the non crowded square pool located on the other side of the hotel. Kids just like to swim. I've stayed at many hotels thinking that I got a great bargain for a swanky hotel...they turn out to be a let down. Save your money and stay at a cheap hotel, because all the rooms are the same and you only sleep in it. Most of the time your enjoying your vacation and your family.

We had an enjoyable visit to Branson with our stay at the Welk Resort. The best thing about the stay was the mini-golf and the playground as we brought our young children.

Me and my girl scout troup stayed here, it was awesome! The food was exellent, the waiters always were asking if we needed any thing!! It was just an all around good place!! Although it was a little hard to find,but other than that if you can stay at any hotel in Branson I VERY HIGHLY recomened this one!!!!!!

My family and I just returned from the Welk hotel in Branson, Missouri and we had a wonderful time and everyone there from the front desk to the housekeepers were excellent. A little bit off the beaten path, but well worth the price.

This resort is great for everyone. It is good for families because there is a gameroom, pool, spa, minature golf, and a play ground. Plus it is still close to all the Branson attractions. The resort is good for couples too, because it has a nice pool and spa, a high class theater located right on the property, a great restaurant, and is a beautiful hotel. It is also perfect for group gatherings because of the large meeting and banquet facilities. Overall, the Welk Resort Center in Branson is the perfect place to go.

I didn't know anything about this hotel but I booked it because I found a great rate. Glad I did. Friendly staff, nice room. Grounds impeccably maintained--flowers everywhere and never found a single plant or basket that didn't look beautiful. Kids loved the mini golf course and pool. Location was great--much better than staying on the strip but an easy drive to the strip when you want to.
