The Coffe Baum is one of Europe's oldest café-restaurants and attracts visitors from all over the world. Yet it is not just a café. With its fantastic coffee and unique smells and fragrances it is a magnet for tourists. Next to the café is a fascinating small museum with over 500 exhibits on the subject of coffee, including mills, cups, roasters and virtually everything linked to the art of brewing coffee. Sit down and savour a Schälchen Heeßen as Leipzigers affectionately refer to their coffee and you'll feel like you're in seventh heaven! There are 11 guided tours every Tuesday.
