Back to Showboat Branson Belle Once is too much. My husband and I were both really looking forward to the cruise, but we were both really unhappy with the food and the show. The food was TV dinner quality, fake mashed potatos and unidentified beef cuts with synthetic gravey. The show was 4 people dancing recital dances and singing as well as any church soloists. Rent a boat to see the lake and see another show.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 26 2009 The Best Showboat Around! The Showboat was the best experience I had in Branson. My family and I were welcomed aboard by an employee as we walked in and were presented with excelent service. The entertainment was also quite interesting. They had a tranquilitist, many dances and singing performances and a few magic acts. There was a few faults too. The only restrooms I know of are only located upstairs. This might be a problem with elderly or small children (but keep in mind there are elevators).
Reviewed by: Becky R from on Feb 26 2009 we cant wait to go back! I personally loved the time i had on the showboat, the food was apsolutely delicious and the dessert (cheesecake) was great. We had plenty of time to enjoy the food so we were not rushed and we had a great view of the lake. The server was very friendly and had very good manners. When we were done with our meals we went to a huge beautiful room where we were very comfertably seated. First there was singing and dancing (very talented people and were very amazing) But what really blew me away were Tod Oliver and his amazing dogs. Tod performed numerous hillarious jokes and tricks. Tod was very friendly to his dogs and the dogs seemed to enjoy doing it. Tod also did a trick throughout the whole show where it looked like the dogs were talking (real dogs.) After the show we went into another room where everyone got to pet the dogs and there weren't long lines either. After we were done they parked the ship safely to the dock and we got off.
Reviewed by: Leslie from on Nov 13 2008 the review before me is NOT TRUE! I also have worked on the showboat as a server. The accusations of the former disgruntled employee who doesn't know how to write properly are false! The showboat takes great strides to make sure that everything is safe and clean all the time. I personally have witnessed the preparation of food in the galley and hair nets and gloves are always used. Please do not be led astray by the bitter employee who probably got fired for something he did wrong and is angry. Every last thing he says is false. The showboat is an amazing attraction and has been known as one of the best in Branson for many years.

Reviewed by: eddie from on Oct 10 2008 Great I loved the showbaoat. I have benn going to branson for years but didnt ride the showboat until this june but i defnitley dont regret it. The price was reasonable for me being a silver dollar city passholder but can be expensive if you aren't a passholder. The food was great, along with the view. The show exceeded my expectations and turned out to be one of my favorite shows on our trip. All and all it is a great thing to do while in Branson.

Reviewed by: MARY ann from on Jun 17 2008 Good family fun for all ages We just attended the Sunday 4:00pm show this past weekend. The food was suprisingly good and the dessert was great! The entertainment was fun, engaging and entertaining. We were a bit disappointed that Todd Oliver & his dogs were not performing on the 4pom crusie but the Emcee (chris) and the Russian Dancers were awesome! I hope to go again next year and see Todd Oliver on an 8pm cruise.
Reviewed by: Amber from on Apr 29 2008 Great Show! Wish there was more! More than I expected. I went to the 12:00 show and especially liked the blonde guy in the boxer shorts! The dinning room is huge and I can't believe they fit a show that big on the boat. I hope to see more in the future.
