Back to Tickle Pink Inn Tickle Pink is the ONLY place to stay! This was our first (and definately not our last) time at Tickle Pink Inn. From the moment we walked into our room, we were met with a heavenly view and a bottle of chilled champagne. The rooms are spectacular, the staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast (with the view) is wonderful. I didn't want to leave.
Reviewed by: Rel from on Apr 01 2009 Wow!! The Inn was spectacular! As soon as you walk into the room..BAM..the view of the Pacific, the rocks, the landscaping, it was wonderful. Within thirty minutes of our arrival we received a bottle of champagne, small box of chocolates, and a rose for the wife (FREE). Nothing comes free nowadays but the Tickle Pink had a bunch of complimentary items to choose from. The Inn was wonderful ,romantic, and secluded. My wife and I will definately be back for another trip.

Reviewed by: Delbert Mcclaflin from on Mar 26 2008 Very Peaceful and Romantic My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary here. It is beautiful! The staff was very warm and friendly. The restaurant on the Property is very nice. Our room over-looked the cove and I watched the Otters play in the morning while I had my breakfast. You can hear the waves from the Ocean in the distance and the room was immaculate. I rarely say something is perfect but this was.
Reviewed by: DanielleB from on Mar 25 2008 Would Not Recommend We selected this hotel from the website photo, $509. We clearly did not get the same room featured in that photo. It didn't come close to what the picture promised. In addition, we had to carry our own luggage to our room. There was no bottled water in the room, no hair dryer in the room and the bed is hard and uncomfortable. It was a major disappointment.
Reviewed by: Tammy from on Jun 29 2007 Relaxing Getaway.... What I loved the most was the Location/View... We had an Ocean View Room and the view was Amazing.. My fiance & I both fell asleep on the balcony listening to the waves crashing on the rocks. We were woken up by the Beautiful Sounds of Nature. The Service was great..! The location was beautifully landscape by all types of blossoming colorful flowers & it was well maintained. The rooms were spotless & the beds were super comfortable. If you are in Carmel you must stay at the Tickle Pink Inn...
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jun 06 2007 Slipping? I don't know if it was just us, but we've been here 4 times and this last time (04/07) it was not what it used to be. Two things stood out. It rained on our second day there, usually we have a picnic at one of the state parks. We called early AM to the front desk and asked for a picnic basket, which they are normally more than happy to provide. She said "We don't do that." We've done it 3 times while we were staying here before. "You must be thinking of a different hotel, maybe the Hyatt Highlands Inn?" I finally convinced her to pack a sheet, utensils, two plates, wine glasses, a couple water bottles, etc. and have housekeeping bring it up, where they will be handsomely tipped for their trouble. She did that. Second thing was, after it rained out our picnic, we came back to the room from Big Sur to find our room still not cleaned (1:45 PM or so). Housekeeping comes to the door and says they're leaving so they have to clean now. We asked for half an hour to finish our indoor picnic and she said she only had about 10 minutes. We consented and allowed her to boot us from our room. We love this place, never even considering another hotel in Carmel, but this got us looking at the Highlands Inn, where it sounds like they won't say "We don't do that."
Reviewed by: JobyL from on May 02 2007 We will go back My husband and I went for our 8th wedding anniversary. It was raining the day we got there, but what a great excuse to stay in this truly wonderful room. We had a fire and slipped into a nice warm jaccuzzi bath.
Reviewed by: Dawn from on Mar 25 2007 Expensive, yet habit forming My wife and I have stayed at the TPI on several occasions. Since we already live in paradise (Santa Barbara, CA) it is often difficult to find somewhere worth going for a vacation--but the Tickle Pink Inn has provided us with our answer several times. Although it costs a little more than many places, it has always been worth every penny!
