Whiskey's Food & Spirits, located near the Hynes Convention Center, is a good old-fashioned barbecue spot—take it from the pig-shaped sign that declares 'Welcome to Hog Heaven'. All of the traditional American barbecue items are offered here. The Pan-Fried Chicken and the Ribs are quite popular. There is a healthy selection of whiskey behind the bar, and beer, margaritas and daiquiris for the not-so-hard-core drinkers. This establishment tends to draw a young crowd and can get a bit loud.
