While the food is excellent, if you can get someone to wait on you, the music is bumping, always. Inside the restaurant, the decor is wonderfully fun. But, they allow smoking, on the Patio, where you eat. They are disrespectful to the patrons that don't smoke and have a BAD attitude if you complain. The manager and hostess need to take classes on customer service.

I just want to say we planned an 18th birthday there last Firday and the rain forced us off of the patio and inside. The staff was very accomodating, the food was great and all had a good time. They made us feel welcome, gave our party of 25 great service all the way around!

The setting with views of the rolling Carmel Valley hills is magnificent. Inside and out, the decor and setup is one of the best I have ever seen around. There's plenty of good, hearty food, and as always, there's an abundance of drinks. Families, couples, whatever, the staff make you feel welcome on every visit. Also, if you're looking for one of the best Super Bowl parties around, Baja Cantina is the place to be. I just went to their Super party yesterday (2/7/05) and it was off the walls!
