Back to Hotel Pacific The beds are sheer bliss! The place was romantic, budget friendly and had a wonderful location. The in-suite fireplace was also a winner. Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 16 2008 Love the Hotel Pacific I've stayed at Hotel Pacific several times and loved it each time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The feather beds and linens are luxurious, and the bathrooms are wonderful. The continental breakfast in the morning is great. Here's a tip, get a tray and bring it back to your room to surprise your sweetie in bed, or take it outside to the nearest patio table. What a great morning! Great location to attractions, and a really nice gourmet store nearby if you like snacks in your room. Not sure what everyone means about noisy rooms, I've never had a problem with that here. Loved it and we will stay here again soon!
Reviewed by: Rosemary P from on Jul 07 2008 This hotel is noisy I stayed for 4 nights in November 2007 to attend a conference. The hotel was extremely noisy. The racket from ongoing demolition and renovation starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Walking to my room was like going through a constructions zone with bouncy plywood boards on the floor and dust everywhere.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Jan 02 2008 Have stayed here last year.... Made a trip to Hotle Pacific last year for Thanksgiven..had our 1 yr old at the time with us he enjoyed himself and the over all room was nice. A bit out dated but nice layout and comfortable bed. Stayed on the street side which did cause a bit of a stir in the noise departedment, not from humans but from sea lions which are very far from where you are in regards to distance from rooms. If noise is not your thing ask for a room further in might cut the traffic noise of daily drivers and sea lions at night 8).
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Oct 28 2007 dont stay here. First I must say, the suite "looks" nice, comfortable. however I was told by spindrift there was a kitchen, so me and my girlfriend plan to make breakfast together in the morning. turns out there isn't any. No Air conditioning! so we end up getting a portable fan. at night me, my girlfriend and another couple were playing cards, we're laughing and having a good time. I got complaints left and right from next door to the bottom floor, I was told there are 4 suites complaining about us being loud. I can’t imagine how much noise 2 couples can make, we barely even walk around. and the 3rd times the security guy was extremely rude, I tried to tell him that it doesn’t make sense that we can so loud that 4 suites can hear us unless these walls are made of paper, but the only reply I get is "this is your last warning, next one I'd have to call the police" for $400 a night this isn’t what I expect.

Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Sep 04 2006 The noisiest hotel ever This was quite possibly the noisiest hotel I have ever visited. The bed was against the wall facing the hallway, and we could hear carts and people going up and down the hall all night. The rooms have hardwood floors, so we heard our neighbors upstairs walking around all night as well. The ice machine sounded like a machine gun going off in a war zone. I was totally disappointed with this hotel.
Reviewed by: Lesley K from on May 18 2006 Romantic Getaway Great place to go with your honey. The rooms are decorated in a rustic wood style. The bed, fireplace and bathroom are great. Highly recommend.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Dec 24 2005 Off Season pampering Great location close to shopping, Fisherman's Wharf and downtown restaurants. All suites with gas fireplaces, decent breakfasts and afternoon tea. Parking is extra, but you can always find on street parking in the off season if you don't want to pay the extra $$. Comfortable beds with feather bed; tv flips from sitting area to bedroom. Internet access. Nice balcony or patio for outdoor eating. Romantic location. We've visited during the off season for the past three years and loved the days we're here.
Reviewed by: A Yahoo! Contributor from on Nov 11 2005 Good not Great Recently stayed at the Hotel Pacific with my family. While the room was clean and had nice amenities, our expectations were for a larger room. In this case, the one bedroom with a living room was really one large room. Also, the walls were a little thin - we could hear doors closing, people staying above our room, etc.
