The Kunsthaus Baselland is an ambitious exhibiton project on the outskirts of Basel and an industrial building in Muttenz is where work is displayed. Much of the art shown is by young artists but international art also has a forum here. This means that the unknown mixes with that which has been created by those that are established and known by a select group of people. The neon light flooded rooms are spacious and an annual exhibiton run by the 'Kunstkredit' is also held here. When this is on, visitors can learn about the artists that live and work in Basel and what the city dös to promote their work.
