Here the Atlantic ocean has been heated up to create warm spots in the sea. Also about 3000m2 of the bay have been warmed up for keen swimmers. On nice summer days this place is a must! This is also a good resort for sporting activities such as surfing and sailing. Nauthólsvík beach opened, in summer 2000.
