Due to his love of cinema, King Rama VII, built this theater using his own funds over seventy years ago and at the time it was the largest and most modern entertainment center in Asia. It underwent major renovation in 1992, evolving as a modern theater of international standards. It is well equipped with the latest special effects and technologies such as laser and multivision systems serving to enhance the already dramatic stage shows and films.
