Ilses Erika is the only club in Leipzig which brings together all sorts of popular culture. There’s room on stage for everything in this club, be it literary, a band, a DJ or any other type of performer, but only if Jugendzimmer-Spielerei have left the stage first and it’s not time for the Saturday night show. The three lads who run the place take to the stage and put on a evening’s worth of entertainment themselves consisting of music, comedy and audience participation. The place is full of good-looking young people who come in for a cheap price to listen to music and watch little known performers - Ilses is a trend setter.
