As a frontier state, Oklahoma relied heavily on the commercial impact of the railroad, and it has left quite a mark on state history. This relatively new museum seeks to preserve historical pieces of rail equipment and to educate the public about the history of this mode of transportation. In addition to major exhibits like two Jazz Age passenger train cars and a telegraph machine, there are many smaller relics dating from the early years of rail travel.
